It is essential that you check that the doorway you intend to fit the Air Lock 2020 to is of suitable strength, design and structurally capable of supporting your weight during exercise. Please check the information below before purchasing.
When a permanently fixed training system is not a viable option for you, your home, or situation, the Air Lock 2020 may give you the opportunity to train in your home without the need for permanent fixings.
The Air Lock 2020 has been designed to hook over both sides of a doorway on the frame / architrave. It is your responsibility to ensure that your selected door frame is suitable for taking your weight and the correct dimensions.
The Air Lock 2020 has been designed so that the weight loading on the door frame is dispersed between both frames on either side of the doorway.
The Air Lock 2020 has been specifically designed to suit a Base Station 10 or a CAC Base Station 10. We provide some specific length fixing screws with each Air Lock 2020 to use when mounting a Base Station (screws provided with Base Stations are too long).
The maximum weight limit of the Air Lock 2020 is 120kg, however this may exceed the limitations of the door frame it is fitted to, therefore only load the Air Lock 2020 appropriately.
We recommend that pull ups or exercises are done smoothly. We do not recommend you perform fast or jerky movements whilst using the Air Lock 2020. The Air Lock 2020 has not been designed to be suitable for dynamic jumps onto or off the attached training system.
There are many variants of door sizes and even more designs and construction of door frame / architrave /surround. Whilst we have tried to make our Air Lock 2020 as versatile as possible, there are obviously limitations.
The Air Lock 2020 is only suitable for use with doorways that fit within the range of dimensions shown. The photos are intended to be used as a guide to check critical dimensions:

Please ensure you check the fitting of the Air Lock 2020 before mounting your Base Station or making any modifications to it.
You may want to cut to length the tabs on the Air Lock 2020 if your doorway is too close to the corner of the room. We suggest that you double check your dimensions before making any modifications.
We are unable to accept returns once modifications are made to the Air Lock 2020, unless in the rare occurrence of a product failure.
